Kyte Now Offering Broadcast-Quality Live Video Streaming Backpack: Ok this Kyte LiveU pack (and the Livestream LivePack) have got me seriously excited for the future of live video.
Imagine a college football game where 20 film/TV students were given these and assigned to different parts of the stadium, with viewers at home able to browser through more angles than they could ever imagine.
Or live local news that doesn’t rely on some local TV producer’s selections of what should be news, but instead lets you follow the stories that matter to you most, with a low-cost, distributed reporting team out in the field covering all the stories.
I had no idea we were already to this level with live streaming video. I can’t wait to see where we go from here.
